Nicola Manfredi

I discovered freediving by chance, in 2001, following an injury that forced me to stop alpine skiing. Since then I have not been able to do without it, practicing this discipline wherever there is water: swimming pools, lakes, sea, ocean. I have traveled around the world to practice spearfishing, cooperating with the Diving For A Cause, a non-profit organization promoting humanitarian activities in support of local communities combined with a sustainable and responsible fishing concept. Since 2011 I took part in freediving competitions, both indoor and outdoor, above all to challenge myself rather than to excel over the opponents and in 2015 I won Italian freediving championship in CNF. I've always wanted to share my knowledge and passion for freediving with the others and in 2016 I got II level Freediving SSI Instructor rating and joined the Moving Limits Staff.
