The depth of one's Passions
This last step in the recreational path of a freediver represents the highest level of training before catapulting into the professional world.
Having reached this point, there is only one motivation: to immerse oneself body and soul in freediving.
With the Performance Freediver level, it is no longer the desire to learn but more of a ‘need that is the rudder: the improvement and growth of one’s skills to achieve perfection in each and every dive.
"After the magical instant when my eyes opened into the sea, it was no longer possible for me to see, to think, to live as before."

Moving Limits like all living organisms evolves. We want to make your freediving depths experience a worthwhile and enjoyable one for you and our community, so we chose SSI, which will allow you to study theory from the comfort of home. A digital space for content consultation and self-assessment through the Knowledge Review. At a later date, thanks to Moving Limits instructors you can go deeper into what you have seen in the online material.
Performance Freediver course workshops are times devoted to attending to certain details that become crucial when diving into the deep. Good flexibility of the rib cage, knowledge and management of mental aspects associated with emotions such as fear and/0 expectations, and management of advanced compensation techniques such as Mouth Fill will be the subjects covered during these workshops.
Pool training always remains the best place to Being able to train in a protected environment, here you create the foundations of new skills, experiment with possible advanced training techniques and you work on all the mental aspects that are critical to addressing greater apnea distances and times. Learning to know and recognize the signs and symptoms of hypoxia and hypercapnia will become essential in order to cope with increasingly important performances.
The ultimate goal of the Performance Freediver course is to grow in depth. That is why this course has its preponderant part in this context. Verticality is the beating heart of freediving, that place where determination and willpower are not enough, but technique, economy, compensation and deep skill in self-listening become essential. In these sessions your instructor will guide you to experience depth more and more effectively and harmoniously.
